Tallio ("we", "our", "the app") is an offline-first expense tracking application. Your privacy is fundamental to our design. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.

Tallio does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The app does not require account creation and does not collect personal data. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us.
All data is stored on your device. You can delete all app data at any time by:
Your data is stored in an encrypted SQLite database on your device, protected by your device's own security mechanisms (passcode, biometrics, encryption). Since data never leaves your device, there is no risk of server-side breaches.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Since all personal data remains on your device and we do not collect or process personal data on our servers, traditional data-subject rights (access, portability, deletion) are fulfilled by your direct control over the app and your device. No request to us is needed to exercise these rights — you have full control.
In accordance with Apple's App Privacy requirements and Google Play's Data Safety section:

Subscription purchases are processed entirely through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Payment details are handled by Apple/Google and are never accessible to the app. RevenueCat receives only an anonymous identifier and transaction receipt for subscription validation.
Tallio is designed as an offline-first application. All core features work without an internet connection:

All expense data is stored in a local SQLite database on your device using the Drift database library. App preferences are stored using the device's native local storage (SharedPreferences / NSUserDefaults). No cloud sync, no remote database, no server.

No sensitive permissions: Tallio does not request access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, calendar, health data, or any other sensitive device features.

By downloading, installing, or using Tallio, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Tallio for personal, non-commercial expense tracking purposes.
Tallio is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The app is a personal finance tracking tool and does not provide financial, tax, or investment advice. We are not responsible for any financial decisions made based on data tracked in the app.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Since all data is stored locally on your device, we are not responsible for data loss due to device failure, theft, or accidental deletion.
We reserve the right to discontinue the app at any time. Your locally stored data will remain on your device regardless.
These terms are governed by the applicable laws of your jurisdiction. For users who downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard EULA applies in addition to these terms.
